​My name is Jilna Johny. My mother died five years back. My father is a farmer. Since the death of my mother I stay with my younger sister in an orphanage. I am doing my Bsc Nursing at St. Josephs College of Nursing in Dharmagiri. I will finish my schooling in a few months. I am working on completing my higher studies to get a job, in order to support my younger sister and my father. May God bless you and all my friends of MMD for your good will to supporting me. Making Medical Dreams (MMD), a 501(c)3 nonprofit established by high school students, is a platform dedicated to uplifting and empowering the lives of children with various backgrounds through funding and supporting their education at every stage.
​MMD works with both local homeless shelters in the Bay Area, as well as impoverished communities globally, such as in Odisha, India, and Kropyvnytskyi, Ukraine.
