My name is Pooja Jojo. I stay with my mother and younger brother in a rented house. My father is not with us. He is an alcoholic and has a doubting disorder. Now he lives separately and does not care for us. My mother takes care of us both and also looks after our studies. After Plus Two, I have started BSc Cardiac Technology in Erode. My mother struggles a lot to pay the house rent, to care for our living and to meet the study expenses of us two children. I want to finish my studies, get a job and look after my mother. Making Medical Dreams (MMD), a 501(c)3 nonprofit established by high school students, is a platform dedicated to uplifting and empowering the lives of children with various backgrounds through funding and supporting their education at every stage.
