My name is Sajana. I am the youngest child of my parents. My father left us 6 years ago. My mother took care of us, three girls in the past years. Both my older sisters got married. Now, I live with my mother in a small house, built by the help of the panjayath and the parish. My mother is not educated. She gets now and then manual work in the neighbourhood. I have finished my Plus Two and joined GNM in Rathna College of Nursing, Hassan, in Karnataka State. Since I have taken commerce group for Plus Two, I am not eligible to study BSc Nursing directly. But after GNM, I can go for BSc Nursing. I want to get a job and care for my mother, who has been struggling a lot for many years. Making Medical Dreams (MMD), a 501(c)3 nonprofit established by high school students, is a platform dedicated to uplifting and empowering the lives of children with various backgrounds through funding and supporting their education at every stage.
